FDAP Training Seminar - Friday, February 8, 2019

FDAP's 2019 annual training seminar will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019, in the conference center at the Courthouse in San Francisco.

The seminar will provide 6.0 hours of MCLE credit. We will also provide a continental breakfast and lunch.

Registration fees:

  • $70 for Court of Appeal Panel Attorneys, government attorneys, non-profit attorneys, and attorneys in practice 0-5 years;

  • $35 for law students, and

  • $125 for attorneys in practice more than 5 years.

Topics will include:

  • three hours of dependency breakout sessions co-hosted by FDAP, SDAP and CCAP

  • perspectives from the bench with The Honorable Alison M. Tucher, Associate Justice, First District Court of Appeal

  • substance abuse MCLE lecture with David Mann of The Other Bar

  • criminal law topics include recent legal developments, Cal. Surpeme Court practice, and Batson/Wheeler issues

Criminal and appellate specialization credit will be available. Exact times and a complete syllabus will be posted soon.

The seminar materials will be available in electronic format only . The electronic materials will be made available for downloading no less than one week prior to the seminar, which should allow time for printing if you wish to bring them to the seminar in print format. (There is no CD; you will receive an email with a link when the materials are ready to download.)

Cancellation Policy: Refunds, less a $10 processing fee, will be sent for those cancellations received by 9:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2018. Cancellations received after that date are not eligible for a refund.

Because of the greater processing time required for checks, payment will be by credit card or PayPal.
